Donald Payton

Donald Payton
Chairman and President

Don Payton is currently President and CEO for VectorVest, Inc. Don has over 20 years’ experience in the areas of management, product support, public speaking, education, marketing and software design, architecture and testing. Over the years he has played a key role in the innovation, research, design, creation and testing of all of software products, concepts and indicators that VectorVest has produced. Don has spoken and instructed at hundreds of seminars, trade shows and workshops worldwide. As Chairman and President, Don oversees the operations of all departments at VectorVest. Don resides in Mooresville, NC, with his wife and two children.

Linda Royer

Linda Royer

Linda Royer is currently the CEO for VectorVest, Inc. She started her career with VectorVest, Inc. as a data clerk, working from the basement of Dr. Bart DiLiddo’s Bath, Ohio residence. In the early years, the VectorVest product was delivered, commercially, to customers in written format, under the title of “The VectorVest Advisory Service”. Linda was responsible for researching companies and entering data from a variety of sources, as well as publishing, assembling and mailing the newsletter each week. As the company grew, she moved on to a more administrative role, managing new employees and developing systems and processes to manage a growing company. Ms. Royer went on to learn accounting first-hand from the company’s CPA firm. She then began overseeing the company’s finances and HR services. Over the years, Linda has absorbed much of DiLiddo’s business knowledge and Ms. Royer continues to be instrumental in nurturing the company’s employee base, vendor relationships and overseeing the company’s operations. During Ms. Royer’s tenure with VectorVest, Inc. she has played a huge role in the company’s transition from a weekly newsletter service to an electronic subscription service that analysis over 20,000 stocks in twenty-six different stock markets and serves independent stock investors from every corner of the Globe.

Ray Clark

Ray Clark
Vice President of Educational Services

Ray Clark is the Vice President of Educational Services for VectorVest, Inc. During his ten-year career at VectorVest, he has been interacting with and educating investors around the world on how to make money in the stock market using the VectorVest system of stock analysis. In his current position, Ray is responsible for the creation, planning and delivery of all VectorVest’s educational material.

Prior to his career at VectorVest, Ray spent many years in management. He studied at St. Clair County Community College and Northwestern Michigan College and now resides in North Carolina with his wife and son.

Steve Chappell

Corporate Secretary/Treasurer for VectorVest, Inc.

Steve Chappell is currently the Director of Trading Systems Development for VectorVest, Inc. Steve has been with VectorVest, Inc. for seventeen years. He has spent many of those years as a lead seminar instructor for VectorVest and has taught thousands of investors the VectorVest System, options, and technical analysis through investment workshops and trade shows around the world. Mr. Chappell has also been instrumental in the development of the VectorVest University, a Web site dedicated to teaching individual investors how to use the VectorVest System to maximize profits and minimize risk in the stock market. Prior to his career at VectorVest, he studied liberal arts at St. Leo University and received MCP, MCSE, Net+, and A+ computer certifications from Advanced Computer Technology Training.

A former high school English teacher, Jerry D’Ambrosio left behind one world of education for another. Jerry is the Manager of Educational Content for VectorVest, Inc. For several years now, he has educated investors around the world on stock market strategies and money management techniques to help them make money in any market condition. Jerry has trained individuals to become successful investors using VectorVest, the world renowned system of stock analysis and portfolio management. He was born in Plainview New York, received his English and Education degrees from Pace University in New York City and now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. In addition to his continual study of the stock market, he also enjoys reading and travelling.

Brian D’Amico

Director of Educational Marketing

Brian D’Amico is currently the Director of Educational Marketing for VectorVest, Inc. With over fifteen years’ experience serving the customers of VectorVest, he has developed, tested and defined trading systems, methods and stop criteria to meet the customers’ needs. He has taught employees and customers alike the VectorVest System, Options and Stock Analysis through investment seminars, workshops and webinars around the world. He has also worked directly with our Product Development team on the research that went into the development of many VectorVest, Inc. proprietary indicators. Brian continues to be a valuable resource for product development and the education department in the creation of trading systems and trading plans. Prior to his career at VectorVest, he taught third grade at China Grove Elementary School, in NC. Currently, Brian resides in Mooresville, NC with his wife and two children.

John Mwarabu

John Mwarabu

Option traders who attended the Options JumpStarter or Options Paycheck courses would have corresponded with John as he facilitates our courses and Group Coaching programs. He’s the critical link between our instructors and all the resources available to help clients.

John has over four years of experience with VectorVest, applying his formal education at Florida International University with the unique challenges of his position. He is required to assimilate a lot of information in a short period of time so that he can assist clients across a wide range of challenges with the right solution.

John enjoys a variety of martial arts, including Jiu Jitsu and Krav Maga, with particular expertise in Muay Thai, a passion he shares with his daughter—who’s a champion in her own right.

Jim Penna is the Manager of Retirement Services for VectorVest, Inc. Jim joined the VectorVest family in 2007. He spends much of his time conducting Investment Seminars and working with customers to help build the foundation for a safe and secure Retirement Portfolio. Jim is also skilled in Options Trading and teaches Options for VectorVest. Prior to joining VectorVest, Jim spent nearly 10 years working on trading desks and then as a market maker for a major trading firm. A graduate of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield CT, Jim lives with his wife and two boys in North Carolina.

Todd Shaffer

Todd Shaffer is the Manager of Research for VectorVest, Inc. With over 10 years of experience as a lead seminar instructor for VectorVest, he has taught thousands of investors how to be more effective with the VectorVest system in both the U.S. and abroad. Prior to his career with VectorVest, he held management positions with several corporations. He started investing in the stock market in the late ‘70’s.

Glenn Tomkins

Glenn Tompkins is a senior instructor for VectorVest, Inc. and has been with the company for 15 years. Mr. Tompkins has traveled all over the country, teaching thousands of investors how to make money in the stock market with VectorVest. He teaches the basic system, options and technical analysis. He is also a frequent presenter at VectorVest University and the host of the VectorVest YouTube Channel, where he analyzes the stock market and presents timely stock picking strategies to the #VVNation. Mr. Tompkins is a decorated Marine Corps veteran, and his combat experience, leadership skills, and VectorVest knowledge combine to provide a unique teaching ability that is unsurpassed. He is a savvy equity and options trader and enjoys sharing his knowledge with others.

Ron Wheeler

Ron Wheeler currently serves as both Options Instructor and Product Manager for OptionsPro, VectorVest’s premier options trading analysis software as well as the creator and instructor of The Option Paycheck Course, 7 weeks to income with Options. He has more than 20 years of experience as both a full-time stock and option trader and trading educator. He has designed and taught countless real-time trading courses spanning short term day trading of futures to longer term trading using equity and index options as well as preformed numerous live trading demonstrations on both futures and options trading across the US and Europe. After spending 10+ years as a day trader glued to his screens, he decided to shift his primary focus to longer term equity and index option trading utilizing various income producing strategies such as Iron Condors, Calendars, Vertical Credit Spreads, and Diagonals.

Prior to VectorVest, he served as Senior Trading Educator for eSignal where his focus was on technical analysis training utilizing Elliott Wave, Gann, and Fibonacci. Ron studied at The Ohio State University and The University of Akron. He currently resides in Medina, Ohio with his wife and son.
