Make Your Dreams Come True
VectorVest is pleased to announce the release of Trading as a Business, a three-day course for serious investors. This course is designed to provide the information, knowledge and plan you need to put yourself in control of your future.
The first day begins with helping you recognize the time and commitment needed to successfully trade as a business. It is made clear that trading as a business is not a hobby and you must have an intense desire to succeed in order to succeed. With this in mind, the course moves on to helping you establish a realistic business vision with achievable goals and objectives. The course goes on to identifying the resources you will need to run your business and the corporate structure you may have to minimize taxes.
With these matters in place, the course proceeds to relating your business to the VectorVest system of stock analysis and portfolio management. Market Timing is explained in detail and special attention is given to assessing your risk tolerance and investment style to assure appropriate stock selection and strategy implementation.
The second day begins with an introduction to a trading system design. Subsequently, each critical step of research, development, testing, evaluation, implementation and monitoring is explained and demonstrated.
The third day is devoted to allowing you to design a trading system of your own. Instructors will be present to assist you. By the end of the course, you will be prepared to Make Your Dreams Come True.

I would be interested in information on when your “Training as a Business Course” will be. I live in the Los Angeles area so I hope it will be close, or on a Webcast.
Thanks,

Deb,
We do have a “Sneak Peek” webcast on May 30, 2013 at 4:30 ET. You can sign up for that here. We plan on having many classes but our first one will be at our state-of-the-art training center in Cornelius, NC (just north of Charlotte) on June 20. From what I have heard from the instructors here, it should be a great course!
I would like to have the schedules for this “New Training as a Business Course” in Knoxville or Detroit, MI Grand Rapids, MI area
and what is the cost
Hi Anjan,
As of right now, the only Trading as a Business Workshop we are offering is in Cornelius, NC on June 20-22, 2013. Knoxville isn’t that far from Cornelius, so come on down if you can! You can keep up with our upcoming events on the Events page of our website. The link to the page I provided has dates, info and prices.
Sounds very interesting. I have been trading for the last 7 years with a little success not like I want. I live in the Dallas area. Whichever way the course comes – I would consider it strongly. Thanks!
Hi Tony,
As of right now, the only workshop scheduled is for June 20-22, 2013. I believe there will be another one in September or thereabouts, but that hasn’t been confirmed. So, my suggestion would be to sign up for the June workshop which is here in Cornelius, NC. (Beautiful area, btw. Right by Lake Norman, just north of Charlotte.) You can sign up here: https://qa.vectorvest.com/events/events.aspx. Hope you can make it! We’ve been getting great response from the webcasts regarding the course.
I don’t suppose there is any reason why someone living in Canada should not go is there? I assume it is geared towards the US markets but I don’t suppose that would matter. Please let me know if I am missing anything.
Also would one be expected to already be a very successful trader or VV expert?
Thanks,
Tom
Hi Tom,
Thanks for your interest in the Trading as a Business Course! We had the first one a couple weeks ago at our training facility here in Cornelius, NC, and it was quite a success! As for your question regarding someone from Canada attending, you are more than welcome to come to any future events. However, there will be a few things that are relevant only to US citizens. The course covers setting up business plans, incorporation and what to expect from taxes (although we do not give tax advice), which are all US exclusive. Everything else should pertain to you. No, you don’t have to be a successful trader or a VV expert, although the course does get quite involved, so knowing your way around the program will certainly be to your advantage.
Hope to see you at an upcoming event!
Please send me the link for your next webinar Schedule.
You can find the webcast schedule on our Events page. Here is the link for you:

Morning
I’ve been involved in the market for 30 years. Still haven”t made my first million. I’ve read and listened to many. Most could tell me the past, nobody had a good system for the coming. I’m not looking for magic, i’m just looking for a system to devote myself to. I’ve been looking at V V for a long time but never took the time. I would if class’s where to be held in the Pittsburg Pa. area. I’m always looking to get better and do this for a living for myself. I believe I have enough capital .to trade and live off the Gains the rest of my life. I’m just looking for a system thats not BS.
Thanks Jack
Hi Jack,
Thanks for your post. I think you’ll like the VectorVest system. I know we’ve had classes in Pittsburgh recently, so I am sure we’ll be heading back there in 2014. You may want to look for user groups in your area, too. My recommendation would be to start a $9.95 trial, test the waters, and call our support lines with any questions you may have. Also, we have free, weekly webcasts which should help you with finding your way around the software. Plus, the webcasts introduce strategies which you can test. Since VectorVest is based on mathematics and not hearsay or emotions, you’ll soon discover it’s not BS.
Best,
Keith
